Jennifer Dominguez began working for the City in 2002 as the Library Assistant. Her responsibilities included processing new materials including books, audiovisual materials; maintaining records, assisting patrons; managing the library; receiving payments for fines and dues; shelve books when patrons return them and help process new material.
She began as the Interim Library Director in 2020. Since, she has submitted required documentations to the Texas State Library, provided virtual opportunities during the pandemic, manage the process and improvements implemented at the Public Library, and organize for reopening of the E.M. Gilliam Memorial Public Library
Jennifer has two sons and has been living in the City of Wilmer for about 30 years. She enjoys spending time with family; enjoys shopping; and spending time outdoors.
