1. How do I get a Library Card?

Patrons may apply for or renew a library card in-person at the Wilmer Public Library. To apply for a library card, you will need a photo ID and proof of your current address – like your driver’s license.  If your photo ID does not include your current address, you can use something like a utility bill if it includes your current address.  Children under eighteen (18) may be issued cards if accompanied by a parent or guardian with a photo ID and proof of current address.

2. Does the library have copy, print, scan, or fax services?

YES! Copy and Print Black & white copies are 10 cents per page Send a Fax for $1.00 per page Scanning is FREE.

3. How long can I keep library materials?

Five books and/or audiobooks can be checked out for 2 weeks. 3 DVDs per family or in the same household may be checked out at any time. DVDs may be checked out for three days. DVDs, Audiobooks, and Books may be placed in the) drop box inside the library.

4. Does the Library have Wi-Fi?

Yes. Wi-Fi is available and FREE of charge for use on personal devices.

5. How do I request an interlibrary loan?

To request a book please have the following information ready:

• Book Title
• Author
• Publication Information if possible

6. If I do not have a Wilmer Public Library membership, what services are available to me?

Those who do not have cards are welcome at the library. While you may not borrow materials, you may use many other library resources and services: Browse and read materials in the library Use public access computers and guest Wi-Fi Attend library programs
