Wilmer residents who are in need of smoke detectors (supplies are limited) can call the Fire Department at 972-441-6565 to request alarms and schedule a day for the Fire Department to come out and install them. The Fire Department does not install smoke detectors in rental properties. You will need to contact the Landlord for installation of smoke detectors.
