The month-long celebration focuses on the importance of reading, writing and literature. National Book Month is also a time to honor the country’s best books and authors.
The E.M. Gilliam Memorial Library is located at 205 E. Belt Line Road, Wilmer, Texas. The Gilliam Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the Wilmer city boundaries.

Five books and/or audiobooks can be checked out for 2 weeks, and three DVDs for 3 days. Borrowed material can be renewed by calling the library or by stopping by. 3 are the maximum of renewals. Please bring returned materials to the front desk and let a librarian know.
Internet Access & Wi-Fi Services
We have 8 Computers for public use. Sessions are 1 hour long, but patrons can request for a time extension if computers are available. The computers automatically shut down 15 minutes before closing time. Suspension of computer privileges will occur if there is any misuse of the computer.
Copy machine is available for limited use.
$.10 per page fee will be charged for black and white print outs and copies and $.50 per page fee for color.
Scanner is available free of charge.
A fax machine is available for our customers. A $1.00 per page, per side fee will be charged for information sent or received via Fax.
