It is the mission of the Wilmer Police Department to "Serve with Honor and Protect with Vigilance." In partnership with all segments of our community, provide impartial, fair, ethical, and professional law enforcement service through a proactive approach in the prevention, detection, detention, and investigation of criminal activity. To Lead our community with Pride, Integrity, and Bravery, with a Heart to Serve and a foundation of Compassion so that together, each citizen can enjoy the highest quality of life through involvement and interaction.
